Toney Marcellus Hood was born June 29, 1954, in Leesburg, Florida to Marcellus Hood and Leona Crummer. Toney graduated from Asbury Park High School in Asbury Park, New Jersey. Toney entered into eternal rest on March 1, 2012. He leaves to cherish his memories: a loving and devoted daughter, Shana T. Hood, Leesburg, FL, one granddaughter, Evana J. St. Juste, Leesburg, FL; A devoted friend, Annie E. Barrett, Valdosta, GA; 5 sisters, Gayle Smith, Orlando, FL, Debora (Greg) Coleman and Doris Parris, Leesburg, FL, Pamelyn (Marvin) King, Eustis, FL, Rheda (Jerome) Kyler, Miami, FL,; one brother, Marcellus (Roshunya) Hood, Atlanta, GA ; four aunts, Ida Morgan and Elvira Niblack of Leesburg, FL; Louise Crummer, Asbury Park, NJ, Laura (Albert) Williams, Salem, AL, three uncles, Booker T. Williams, Hilliard Hood, Houston (Elizabeth) Hood, all of Salem, AL, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and sorrowing friends. A Celebration of Life will be held 1:00pm, Friday, March 9, 2012, at Mt. Olive Progressive Baptist Church, 405 S. Childs Street, Rev. James Brown, Pastor, Rev. Tommie Jordan, Officiating.
