Coach Que’s Legacy

Parents: Mae Katherine Lee & Clarence Peeples, Jr.
His Life:
Quentin grew up in Cherry Lake, Florida. As a child, he attended Spark Level Baptist
Church. He was a current member of Citadel of Hope Ministries located in Leesburg,
FL. He graduated from Wildwood High School, Class of 1987. He then attended Bethune
Cookman on a football scholarship. Afterwards, he followed his love of cutting hair
and making others look good, and he later became a licensed master barber. In 2007,
Quentin pursued another dream, his passions for music, recording, and DJ’ing. He
became the proud CEO of One Live Entertainment & One-Live Musiq Group.
Quentin never stopped dreaming BIG and pursing his passions. In 2012, he took a
leap of faith and became a full-time licensed barber. In June 2016 Quentin earned a
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Music from Full Sail University. He was determined to
be an example to the kids he served, and show them they could also achieve their goals.
From 1996 to 2007, Quentin was employed as a Ro-mac Lumber Class A Truck Driver.
Later, he was promoted to assistant operations manager. From 2008 to 2013, he
worked at Boys & Girls Club as a teen coordinator and bus driver. From 2017 to 2022,
he held the positions of Defensive Coordinator and Defensive Line Coach at Umatilla
and Leesburg High School. From 2018 to 2022, he was a Beverly Shores Elementary
assistant P. E. Teacher.
His LOVE:
He met his Soulmate in July of 1994. He leaves a million memories with his loving and
devoted wife, Regina L. Peeples, of 27 years, who he affectionally called “Gina Kat.”
They were married on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 1995, and made “Every Moment
Matter.”
He leaves lasting memories with: four children, Darius S. Lightfoot (Nikki), Teron
Wallace, Ashley Blunt, and Quentin ReQuis Peeples; goddaughter, Leea Hanks;
beloved mother, Mae Katherine Lee; father, Clarence Peeples, Jr.; and bonus mom,
Barbara (Diane) Peeples.
He was a big and protective brother to: sisters, Rosalind Peeples-Johnson, Catryce
Peeples, Latoya Peeples, and Brianna Peeples; and Brothers, Eric Peeples, Bruce Toney,
Forrest Peeples, and godbrother, Jason Foster.
He will be forever loved and remembered by: uncles, Jonathan J. Lee, Jr., Jimmie L.
Lee, Author J. Lee, Eddie Lee, Sr., Charles Peeples, Carl Peeples (Norma), Cybrian
Peeples, Clifton Peeples (Ariel), Cemory Peeples, and Charles Tucker; aunts, Gail
Brown (Andrew), Martha Towns (Oscar), Hattie Singleton (Dossie), Betty Lee, Debbie
L. Pew; great-uncle, Luke B. Smith; great-aunt, Ruby S. Fields; father-in-law, Ronald G.
Larris, Sr. (Liz); mother-in-law, Gloria E. Austin (William); brothers-in-law, Ronald
G. Larris, Jr. (Cierra), and Dejuan Larris (Brittany); special cousins/brothers, Randall
Peeples and Darin Glover; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends
His Legacy:
• Ro-Mac Lumber, Driver of the Year, 1998
• Honorably selected as United Way of Lake & Sumter Hometown Hero in 2016
• He coached several teams and age groups for Leesburg Junior Jacket Pop Warner football
program during 2003-2016.
“Coach Que” always made a difference in his community on and off the field/court/
playground, he truly had a heart for every kid he encountered. He never clocked out, and
he truly understood “His Life Assignment.”
