James Junior Bowers was born on November 12, 1949, in Jackson
County, Florida, in a little town called Malone, to John and
Callie Bowers.
A graduate of Carver Heights High School, he served in the
United States Army.
Left to cherish his memory: mother, Callie Bowers (90 years old);
father, John Bowers (93); six siblings, Roy Bowers of California,
Edaniel Bowers (Para) of Apopka, Florida, Brien Bowers
(Linda), Bruce Bowers (Jackie) and Barbara Knight (Leon) and
Ella Harrison (Robert) of Orlando, Florida; three aunts, Allie
Williams, Ella Robinson, and MaryAnn Adolphus; two uncles,
Chester Williams and Ira Williams; and numerous nephews,
cousins, and nieces.
James was a nice, gentle, and quiet man. He loved people. He
was skilled at drawing. God saw t to take him home, and we
will miss him.
