Obituary for James Jerome Jenkins, III
James, "Jimmy" Jenkins was born on August 29, 1966, in Tavares, Florida to the late James Jenkins Jr. and Mother Lou Ethel Jenkins. At an early age Jimmy gave his life to Christ, he joined St. John Free Methodist Church. He moved his membership to Shiloh M. B. Church when his father was ordained as deacon in 1975. Many years later Jimmy was also ordained as a deacon. He received his education in the Lake County School System, graduated in the class of 1985. He was employed at Sun Coast Installation for 10 years. He drove the semi trucks long distant before he started his landscaping business. His hobby was fishing and he loved the wild life. He was married to Cynthia Deeds Jenkins and five children were born to this union. He was preceded in death by his son James Michael Jenkins and father James Jenkins Jr. He leaves to cherish his memories four daughters, Cheryl Deeds, Tavares, FL, Kayla Jenkins, Lakeland, Kristin Jenkins, Tavares, FL, Savanna Jenkins, Lakeland, FL, Three grandsons, Reco White, Joshua White, Jayden Jenkins, Lakeland, FL, One granddaughter, Aria Paige, Tavares, the love of his life, Tanya Mailo, Waianse, Hawaii, Mother, Lou E. Jenkins, Tavares, FL, Sister, Rosalind Stanford, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, One nephew, Bobby Stanford (Chelsea), Tavares, FL, Uncles, Wilbur Jenkins, John (Jessie) Jenkins, Isaiah (Shirley) Jenkins Paul Jenkins, Henry Jenkins, Clarence (Mary) Kenon. Aunts, Annie P. Smith, Alma (James) Menton, France Davis, Mary Battle, Brenda Jenkins, Leona Jenkins, a great aunt Mrs. Dorothy Rocker, a good friend, Glenn Smith. A host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
