Obituary for Issac Brown
Issac Brown was born on February 28, 1963, to
Mattie Ruth McMillan Brown in Leesburg, Florida.
Issac was a forebearer of hard work and a grinder with the
heart of a lion. Issac carried a strong family conviction.
Issac also was a lover of people. When he met you, you
were no longer friend, but family.
He worked various jobs in the agriculture and citrus
industry, covering many roles throughout the Southeast
and Northeast.
Issac departed this life on Thursday, June 2, 2022. He was
preceded in death by his mother, Mattie Ruth McMillan
Brown; his stepfather, Eric John Brown; his brother,
Hugh Eric Brown; and his uncle, Jimmy Earl McMillan.
He leaves to cherish his memory: one sister, Dannye Grant
of Albany, Georgia; three brothers, Ricky McMillan
of Tallahassee, Florida, Reverend Mark T. Brown, and
Minister Benjamin Brown (Vickie), both of Leesburg,
Florida; four nieces, Maria S. Breedlove (Jesse) of Albany,
Georgia, Jennesea Grant of Albany, Georgia, Dasia Brown
of Leesburg, Florida, and Mattie Elizabeth MooneyMcMillan of Tallahassee, Florida; three nephews,
Lawrence Grant, Jr., of Albany, Georgia, Arkee Brown,
and Jace Brown, both of Leesburg, Florida; four aunts,
Viola McMillan King of Bunnlevel, North Carolina,
Novella McMillan of Lillington, North Carolina,
Alberta Mclean (Robert), and Martha McMillan, both
of Fayetteville, North Carolina; nine great-nieces; two
great-nephews; as well as a host of cousins and friends.
