Obituary for Henry Bruce Lyons
Henry Bruce Lyons was born on July 7, 1963 to the Late Elder Lott C. Lyons and Hazel Lyons in Lakeland Florida. He attended Polk County Schools before moving to Bushnell, FL with his family. He graduated from South Sumter High in 1981. He furthered his education at Edward- Waters College before returning home to work in the Sumter County School System. He also was gainfully employed at Life Stream Behavioral Center for many years.
On December 23, 2012, “Mr. B” was called back to his heavenly home. He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving mother, Hazel Lyons, Bushnell FL; two sisters, Karen (Winston) Davis, Bushnell, FL, and Felicia Lyons, Leesburg, FL; four brothers: James Lyons, Jasper, FL, Curtis (Katrina) Lyons, Bushnell, FL, Lott (Cheryss) Lyons, Winter Haven, FL, and David (Katrina) Lyons, Wildwood, FL, and a host of sorrowing nieces, nephews, friends and co-workers.
A wake will be held December 28, 2012, from 5-7P.M., at Bushnell Assembly of God, 1451 WC 476, Bushnell FL. Homegoing Service will be held 11:00A.M., December 29, 2012, at South Sumter High School Gymnasium, 706 N. Main Street, Bushnell, FL. Final interment will be in the South Sumter Evergreen Cemetery.
