Obituary for Geraldine "Stella" Cuyler
Geraldine “Stella” was born on October 30, 1946, in Live Oak, Florida, to Hattie-Mae and James Cuyler, who she preceded in death.
When God made Stella there was no need to create another, because there will never be another quite like her. She attended Richardson High School (Lake City, Florida). She was never a stranger to hard work, and she spent many years working at Alberta Crates until it closed. She was many things to many people. She was a daughter, mother, aunt, and grandmother. She will be missed, and her absence will not go unnoticed.
On September 9, 2025, Stella departed from this earth; she was preceded in death by her daughter, Tay Timmons, and her siblings, James Cuyler, Jr., Lerenzo Marshall, and Catherine Masoline. She leaves her children, Roshetta Dumas (William), Shelby Bennett (Rudyard), Jerry Rentz, and Herbert Cuyler, Sr., to carry on her legacy; sisters, Rosa Lee Bickensta, Edith Cuyler, George Ann Turner, and JoAnn Evans; and brother, Leroy Cuyler. She also leaves a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
