George Carver Roundtree was born in Tampa, FL, on February 14, 1946, to the late Harry and Gladiola Roundtree. He attended the public schools of Leesburg and graduated from Carver High School. He later served his country by joining the United States Air Force, earning the rank of Sergeant. George transitioned from labor to reward on March 21, 2013. Left to cherish his memories, 3 sons, Raymond and Victor Roundtree, Leesburg, FL, Sirdarious Roundtree, Tallahassee, FL; 2 daughters, Ciara and Ashley Roundtree, Leesburg, FL; 2 brothers, Harry Roundtree, Chicago, IL, and Ray (Gwen) Roundtree, Baton Rouge, LA; 2 sisters, Mary Roundtree-Castelli, Leesburg, FL, and Aubrey Dale (Charlie) Jacobs, Wildwood, FL. 13 grandchildren, 9 nephews, 5 neices, uncles, and a host of loving cousins, church members, and lifetime friends. Public viewing will be held 6:00-8:00P.M., Friday, March 29, 2013, at St. Paul AME Church, 110 S. Lake Street, Leesburg, FL, Rev. Dr. Terrell Blair, Pastor.  Celebration of Life  and  Military Honors will be conducted 11:00A.M., Saturday, March 30, 2013, at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 1012 E. Line Street, Leesburg, FL. Rev. Tony Person, Pastor, Rev. Dr. Terrell Blair, Officiating. Final interment will be in the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
