Obituary for Elder Walter Lee Davis, Sr.
Elder Walter L. Davis was born on February 14, 1942 in Bushnell, Florida to the late Willie Davis Sr. and Mattie Davis. He completed his High School Education at Mills High School in Webster, Florida in 1959. He immediately moved to Detroit, Michigan after graduation and accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior under the pastor of Rev, John w. Coleman.
He moved back to Bushnell in 1998 and married Mary Davis in 1999. They joined United Church of God in Christ under the Pastor Elder Joseph Moore and became faithful members.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Davis Sr., mother, Mattie Davis and five brothers, Theodore, Charlie, Randall, Marion, and Broward. one sister, Mercede Williams.
