Obituary for Dedric Romoane Jackson
Dedric R. Jackson was born December 6, 1971, in Rockledge, FL,
and raised in Cocoa, FL, by his proud parents, Robert and Dora
Ann Jackson.
Dedric attended Cocoa High School but then went on to earn his
GED.
Dedric enjoyed writing and listening to music, drawing art,
spending time outdoors, and enjoying his family and friends. He
cherished the little moments in life by taking pictures and videos.
Dedric had a smile that warmed the hearts of all those he came in
contact with. Dedric was a protector of those he loved. He enjoyed
working at Conimar Group in Ocala where he was treated like
family as well as Pathways Health Partner Group where his wife
worked.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving, devoted “Queen,”
as he referred to his wife, Katrina Jackson; “Nee-Nee!!!” of Ocala,
FL; parents, Robert and Dora Jackson of Cocoa, FL; mother-inlove,
Betty Wilson (Ma Bet) of Ocala, FL; sisters, Denice Kelley
(Dexter) of Cocoa, FL, and Treena Jackson-Middleton of
Gainesville, FL; son, Devontae Jackson of Orlando, FL; nephews,
Charles, Darian, and JaMaria; nieces, Alexas (Josh) Ravyn,
Destiny and Kinsey Hopkins; bonus niece, Zayah Forbes; bonus
sister, Chandra Williams of Atlanta, GA; and bonus brother, James
Young, Jr., of Orlando, FL
