Obituary for Clydie Chatman Mackey
Clydie Chatman Mackey, 63, of Mt. Dora, was born January 8, 1949, in Leesburg, Florida to the late Clyde and Jesse Lee Chatman. She was a graduate of Carver Heights High School. Clydie married the love of her life, Theodore Mackey, Jr. She peacefully departed this earthly life on November 7, 2012. She leaves to cherish her memories: a devoted husband of 43 years, Theodore Mackey, Jr.; two loveable and devoted daughters, Rhonda and Stacey, Mt. Dora, FL; one brother, Carl (Chris) Chatman, Jacksonville, FL; three sisters, Sarah (Henry) Lynum, Leesburg, FL, Evelyn Harrison, Miami, FL, and Joyce Chatman, Leesburg, FL; four aunts, Ida M. Morgan and Elvira Niblack, both of Leesburg, FL, Louise Crummer, Asbury Park, NJ, and Samuella Chatman, Canto, OH; two uncles, Rev. Samuel (Ella) Chatman, Leesburg, FL, and Booker T. Williams, Wooster, OH; five sister-in-law. Patricia, Edith, Alma, Kathy, and Edna, all of Leesburg, FL; five brother-in-law, James, Samuel, Ervin, Michael and Carl, all of Leesburg, FL; an everlasting friend, Phyllis Dailey; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and sorrowing friends. A memorial service will be held 2:00P.M., Saturday, November 17, 2012, at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 1012 E. Line St., Leesburg, FL with Supt. Lonnie Smith, Officiating.
