Obituary for Cleopatra B Grimes
Mrs. Cleopatra Bryant-Grimes was born February 27, 1935 in Kemper County Mississippi to the late Macie A. Donald and Estella William Donald. She received her education in the public school in Kemper county Mississippi and at Campbell College in Jackson, Mississippi. She confessed Christ at an early age at Liberty Methodist Church, Collinsville, Mississippi. She later moved to Leesburg, Florida where she met and married the Reverend Willie Lee Grimes and joined the Mt. Ararat Metropolitan Baptist Church Family. She was preceded in death by her husband in September 2007 and her son Alfonso Eugene Bryant in May 2002.
Mrs. Grimes transitioned this life on August 20, 2021. She leaves to cherish her memory Three Step-daughters Diane Freeman, Ft. Wayne, IN, Jackqueline Page, Los Angeles, CA, Burma Brown, Ft. Meade, FL; three sisters, Rev. Nedra Willis, Ft. Meade, FL, Tennie (Carey) Greer, Lakeland, FL, Orpah Thedford, Jacksonville, FL; one brother, Isaiah W. (Brenda) Donald, Lakeland, FL; two grandchildren, Krystal Bryant and Eugene Bryant; godson Lawrence (Elaine) Solomon, Leesburg, FL, two goddaughters, Kyana Solomon, McDonough, GA, and Sherika Stokes, Tampa, FL; one daughter-in-law, Christina Bryant; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
